Flat surfaces read as one solid tone; heavily patterned ones vary piece to piece, so we lay them out with you before we cut.
- Color cool white
What kind of tile is Carrara Matte 1x4x6mm?
We stock Carrara Matte 1x4x6mm as porcelain, 1x4. It reads white-cool. It comes as mesh-backed mosaic sheet, which sets faster than loose pieces. Porcelain is the hard-wearing end of the fired-clay family: dense body, tight edges, and no sealing. It is Greenguard certified for indoor-air emissions — the base tier of that standard, not the stricter Gold one.

36 pieces per sheet
Sold by the sheet, 36 pieces to each one, held on mesh backing. The mesh does the work of keeping the grid square; the installer’s job becomes lining sheet to sheet. Outlets and the ends of a run are where that gets decided, so we walk the layout before anything is set.
